The Cultural Section of the Consulate-General of Japan maintains a collection of Japanese goods such as traditional
costumes, toys, and Japanese food display sets. We have a variety of colourful Yukata and Happi coats of various sizes to choose from
and we also have a collection of traditional and regional toys. Through these toys, one can have a better idea of the Japanese children’s
life. Apart from that, we have array of colourful food displays such as the Sushi, Bento, Udon, Tempura and many others. The Culture Section
loans its collection free of charge to schools, non-profit organizations and other groups for promoting and strengthening the relationship
between the Malaysian and Japanese culture. We strongly encourage the use of these materials in the classroom to help add an international
perspective to your curriculum.
