School Caravan: Sekolah Menengah Sultan Abdul Halim, Kedah
     
    
  On 16th June,  students from Sekolah Menengah Sultan Abdul Halim, Kedah visited the Consulate-General of Japan under the School Caravan Programme. They were accompanied by their Japanese language teacher, Mr. Sugandaran. The theme of the School Caravan is about Tanabata which is also known as the Star Festival, which normally celebrated on 7th July every year.

Students were asked to write a wish on a piece of paper called tanzaku and hanging the tanzaku and hoshi origami on a bamboo tree

       Consulate-General of Japan conducts a school caravan from time to time upon request of schools, introducing and promoting mutual understanding in terms of Japanese language, custom, and culture.
