Towards the Future – Tribute to Diplomatic Relations: Malaysia & Japan 60 Years Anniversary

(Penang, May 9th)
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation between Malaysia and Japan. Since then, bilateral relations have been strengthened through the implementation of the ‘Look East Policy’, economic relations, cutural and people-to-people exchanges. To commensurate this significant event, “Towards the Future – Tribute to Diplomatic Relations: Malaysia & Japan 60 years Anniversary” was held at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) main campus from 8th & 9th May 2017. This event was organised by KUFS-USM Japanese Cultural Centre, Division of Industry & Community Network (USM), Consulate-General of Japan in Penang and Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur.
