8th Children Art Coloring Contest 2014

(Penang, May 17) The 8th Children Art Colouring Contest was held at the Penang Japanese School on 17 May 2014. The event is annually organised by the Japan Graduates’ Association of Malaysia (JAGAM) Northern Branch.

There were more than 100 Japanese and Malaysian children, aged 6 – 12 years old, participated in the contest.  The Children Art Colouring Contest is a platform to nurture children’s creativity and to foster better relationship between Malaysian and Japanese children.

Concurrently held was a Japanese Tea Ceremony (Sado) Workshop for parents, organized by Consulate-General of Japan in Penang. Nadeshiko-Kai, the Japanese Tea Ceremony Group in Penang, demonstrated the flow of the Sado.
