(Penang, Aug 26) In conjunction with the celebration of 30th Anniversary of Look East Policy, the Japan Graduates' Association of Malaysia (JAGAM) Northern Branch organized a forum titled “ Education Opportunity in Japan at Penang Caring Society Complex at 10:00 a.m.

| The Forum aimed to deepen the understanding of the public on what to expect from studying in Japan, advantages as well as application procedures. Mr. Kasai, First Secretary of Embassy of Japan in Kuala Lumpur, shared the information on current Japan oversea study status and latest information about Malaysian students in Japan. Teachers and students who were in Japan during the earthquake disaster last year had also shared their experiences and quick recovery of Tohoku Region in the forum. |

Future and current scholars in Japan explained the reason of their decision to study in Japan, tips to live in Japan and encouraged more to follow. Penang Japanese Language Society also explained its activities to help people study Japanese language.
