Consul – General, Mr. Noda attended the opening of medical equipment manufacturing factory by Toshiba Medical Systems.
Toshiba Medical Systems sets up the first Malaysia-based medical image diagnosis manufacturing factory in Penang. This project was approved under one of the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) by the Malaysian government. Chief Minister of Penang, Mr. Lim Guan Eng attended as guest of honour and stated in his speech that Toshiba Medical Systems’ investment will stimulate local economy activities.
