The Consulate-General of Japan at Penang and Berjaya SOMPO Insurance have jointly organised a seminar on “How to cope with crime and accident in Penang” on March 11, 2014, at Consul-General’s official residence to share information on recent crime and accident situation in Penang with the Japanese business community here.
ACP Tuan Mohd Nazir bin Salleh, Deputy Head, Crime Investigation Department from Penang Police Headquarters and Mr. B.H. Yeap, Consultant General & Paediatric Surgeon, Island Hospital, shared their knowledge, experience and other related useful information and advices with the audience, which included representatives of Japanese businessmen, Invest Penang and Northern Corridor Investment Authority (NCIA). Mr. Moriyama, Consul from Consulate-General of Japan at Penang and Mr. Yasumatsu, Technical Advisor from Berjaya SOMPO Insurance Bhd also made presentation.
