Courtesy call on the Chief Police Officer of the Penang Contingent Police Headquarters by Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General

          On August 20^th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, paid a courtesy call on Datuk Dennis Lim Kwang Keng, Chief Police Officer of the Penang Contingent Police Headquarters. During the courtesy call, Mr. Machida expressed his desire to strengthen the relationship with the Penang Contingent Police Headquarters for the safety and security of the approximately 120 Japanese companies and 3,000 Japanese people operating and residing in Penang. In response, the Penang State Police stated that they would like to cooperate to secure the safety for Japanese community as well as to further strengthen a cooperative relationship with us.
