Courtesy call on the Commissioner of the Perak State Police by Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General

   On July 28th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang, paid a courtesy call on Dato’ Mohd Alwin bin Zainal Abidin, Commissioner of the Perak Contingent Police Headquarters. During the courtesy call, Mr. Machida expressed his desire to strengthen the relationship with the Perak Contingent Police Headquarters for the safety and security of the approximately 40 Japanese companies and 450 Japanese people operating and residing in Perak. In response, the Perak State Police stated that they would like to cooperate to secure the safety for Japanese community by providing safety information to it. They also agreed to make this visit a meaningful start to build a cooperative relationship with us.
