Visit by Representatives of the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center

On July 20th, representatives of the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center visited the Consulate-General of Japan in Penang and exchanged views with Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, and Mr. Hideyuki Yazama, Deputy Consul-General.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on initiatives to support the overseas expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises in Tokyo, as well as business opportunities in Penang and northern Malaysia.
Mr. Machida and Mr. Yazama welcomed the visit and expressed their hope that exchanges between Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises and local companies and relevant organisations would deepen further and lead to new business opportunities and cooperation. The Consulate-General will continue to provide as much support as possible for Japanese companies seeking to develop their businesses in this region.
