Courtesy Call on Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, by Representatives of TUT

On Friday, June 26th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, together with Mr. Masamori Kobayashi, Consul in Charge of Public Relations and Cultural Affairs, received a courtesy call from Professor Lim Pang Boey of Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), Special Advisor to the President of TUT, and other related persons. During the meeting, they explained a PBL project to be conducted from September 5th to 10th on a small island off the southern coast of Langkawi, together with students from TUT, Shinshu University, and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The Consulate-General hopes that such initiatives will help Japanese students grow into human resources capable of playing active roles globally.
