Attendance by Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, at the Appointment Ceremony of Dato’ Yeoh Soon Hin as Legal Adviser

On Thursday, June 18th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, attended the ceremony for the appointment of Dato’ Yeoh Soon Hin, Chairman of the Penang Port Commission and Deputy Chairman of Tourism Malaysia, as legal adviser to a local accounting association, and also attended the luncheon that followed. Dato’ Yeoh is a lawyer, and the appointment was made under a legal advisory arrangement with the association. The Consulate-General intends to continue maintaining and developing networks in Penang through such opportunities.
