Visit by Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, to the “Penang Institute”

On Tuesday, June 16th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, together with Mr. Hideyuki Yazama, Deputy Consul-General, visited the “Penang Institute” and paid a courtesy call on its Executive Director, Dato’ Dr. Ooi Kee Beng. The Consulate-General has maintained a long-standing relationship with Dato’ Dr. Ooi and has exchanged views with him on various occasions. The Consulate-General intends to continue cooperating with the Penang Institute in various forms of intellectual exchange.
