Attendance by Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, at the “World Women Economic and Business Summit”

On Monday, June 15th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, attended part of the “World Women Economic and Business Summit” held at a hotel in Penang as a guest. At the meeting, it was pointed out that while women’s social participation in Malaysia and Penang is relatively advanced, further promoting it is also important for economic development. The Consulate-General also recognized that Japan must properly consider this issue.
