On July 1, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, received a courtesy call from Dr. Siti Rafidah Yusof of the Centre for Drug Research, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and Mr. Takuya Terajima, Partnership Coordinator for the collaboration between USM and the University of Toyama.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the progress of cooperation and related activities following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities in February this year. The discussion covered areas including the promotion of academic and researcher exchanges, the expansion of student mobility, and the further strengthening of their collaborative framework.
