Consul-General’s Visit to Menicon Malaysia

On May 6, Mr. Shinya MACHIDA, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, accompanied by Mr. Hideyuki Yazama, Deputy Consul-General, visited Menicon Malaysia, which operates within the Kulim Hi-Tech Park in the state of Kedah. During the visit, they discussed the company’s operations and received an update on the infrastructure and other conditions at the Kulim Hi-Tech Park. We have previously conveyed the concerns and requests of local Japanese companies to the operator of the Kulim High-Tech Park, and we intend to continue these efforts in the future.
