Meeting with Representatives of the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra

On May 11, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, hosted a meeting at his official residence with Datin Seri Irene Yeap, Chairperson of the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra, Mr. Ng Choong Yen, the orchestra’s conductor, and Ms. Emi Yamazaki, President of the Pink Hibiscus Club. They exchanged views on cooperation in Japanese cultural events and on cultural exchanges between Japan and Malaysia.
