Meeting with News Editor of The Star

On April 27, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, hosted a meeting at his official residence with Mr. Arnold Loh, News Editor of The Star, Mr. Daren Tan, Head of Branch of Canon Marketing, Mr. Daisuke Kawatake, Director of the Regional Revitalization Office at Kochi University, and Ms. Emi Yamazaki, President of the Pink Hibiscus Club. They exchanged views on promoting Japanese cultural events in Penang, including the “Penang Yosakoi Parade” scheduled for June 27, as well as on broader Japan–Malaysia cultural exchanges.
