Consul-General Attends AOTS-HIDA Alumni Association New Year's Party

On January 17th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, was invited by the AOTS-HIDA Alumni Association to attend their New Year's Party following their annual general meeting. Mr. Machida had the opportunity to exchange views with the association members and Director Takahashi of the AOTS Indonesia Office. While the AOTS Alumni Association is facing an aging membership, the Consulate-General understands there are plans to promote exchanges with the Medan AOTS Alumni Association going forward. The Consulate General will also provide assistance in a supporting capacity.
