Consul-General Attends CCPSS (Crime Consciousness & Public Safety Society)’s “Media Appreciation Night”

On January 7th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, attended the CCPSS (Crime Consciousness & Public Safety Society)’s “Media Appreciation Night”. CCPSS is an organization primarily active in Penang State that works to enhance community safety and raise crime prevention awareness. With retired senior police officers as key members, it collaborates with government agencies and contributes to strengthening community welfare and safety through anti-fraud lectures and crime prevention activities. The Consulate-General, together with the Security Officer, maintains a good relationship with CCPSS and hopes to obtain information regarding the safety and security of Japanese nationals residing in the area in the future.
