JAGAM (Japan Graduates' Association of Malaysia) Northern Branch’s SDGs Workshop and New Year's Party

On January 3rd, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, participated in an SDGs workshop held at the JAGAM Northern Branch facility and attended the New Year's party organized by the same branch. This workshop featured a card game (originated in Japan) where teams of three, divided into roles such as NGOs and businesses, competed to achieve outcomes through role-playing to learn about the SDGs. While the scenario had limitations, it was an engaging game. At the New Year's Party, Mr. Machida were able to interact with the active members of JAGAM in this region early in the new year. The Consulate-General looks forward to collaborating with JAGAM to further enhance events introducing Japanese culture and those related to studying in Japan.
