Visit by AMDAs and Rose Charities Malaysia to the Consulate General

On December 9th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang, received a visit from representatives of AMDAs Malaysia Branch and the local welfare organization “Rose Charities Malaysia” AMDA Malaysia works in coordination with its headquarters in Japan to engage in medical support activities both within Malaysia and overseas. We also learned that Rose Charities Malaysia, in collaboration with AMDA, focuses its efforts on welfare activities for the elderly in this region. As the organization also expressed interest in introducing Japanese culture, the Consulate General intends to explore avenues for future cooperation.
