Visit by AMDAs and Golden Hope Seniors Activity Centre (PAWE Jelutong) to the Consulate General

On December 9th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang, received a visit from representatives of AMDAs Malaysia Branch and the local welfare organization “Golden Hope Seniors Activity Centre (PAWE Jelutong)”. AMDA Malaysia works in coordination with its headquarters in Japan to engage in medical support activities both within Malaysia and overseas. We also learned that PAWE Jelutong, in collaboration with AMDA, focuses its efforts on welfare activities for the elderly in this region. As the organization also expressed interest in introducing Japanese culture, the Consulate General intends to explore avenues for future cooperation.
