On December 19, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang, attended the signing ceremony of MoA between Shizuoka University and the School of Languages, Literacies and Translation, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
On the same day, he received a courtesy call from President Kazuyuki Hizume and other representatives of Shizuoka University. They exchanged views on strengthening academic cooperation and cross-cultural engagement between the institutions.
