A brainstorming dinner with TUT and local academic/government experts

On December 3rd, Consul General Machida hosted a dinner at his residence, with Professor Lim Pang Boey of Toyohashi University of Technology/Shinshu University as the guest of honor. Representatives from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Digital Penang, Penang Green Council, and Study Penang were invited to participate in a frank exchange of views on future intellectual exchanges between Japan and Penang/Malaysia. The Consulate General hopes to continue utilizing various personal contacts to inspire those involved and promote creative intellectual exchange between the two countries.
