Consul-General Attends Penang Japanese Saturday School’s “Learning Presentation Event”

Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, attended the “Learning Presentation Event” at the Penang Japanese Supplementary School on November 22nd. Nine teams, ranging from the kindergarten division to a combined junior high school second and third year team, gave lively presentations on topics including kanji, recitation plays, and their ideal robots. It was wonderful to see the children, who attend international schools and other institutions while diligently studying Japanese and arithmetic/mathematics on Saturdays. The dedication of the management committee and teachers supporting them was truly remarkable.
