Consul-General's Visit to the School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia

On November 13th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, visited Dr. Mohamad Shaharudin Samsurijan, Dean of the School of Social Sciences at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He formally visited the faculty, with which he has long maintained close ties, to hear an overview of the School’s activities. He also expressed strong interest in the “Japan Liberal Studies” course currently being prepared for implementation at the university. The Consulate-General will continue to deepen multifaceted relations with USM, a key university in northern Malaysia.
