Consul-General attends the Malaysia Day Ceremony

On September 16th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, attended the Malaysia Day Ceremony held at the PICCA Convention Centre in Butterworth, Penang. The ceremony, with the Governor of Penang, Prime Minister Anwar, and the Chief Ministers Penang, Sabah and Sarawak as principal guests, was attended by a large number of participants, including the diplomatic corps, who celebrated Malaysia Day. The performances, including cultural shows by the Malay, Chinese, and Indian communities, were spectacular.
