Consul-General attends the opening of ‘Canon Think Big Series 2025 Penang Edition’

On September 9th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, attended the opening of the ‘Canon Think Big Series 2025 Penang Edition’, hosted by Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.. The event's theme was ‘Towards a smarter, sustainable economy for Penang 2030’. Following a keynote address by Dato' Ooi Kee Beng, Director of the Penang Institute, a lively exchange of views on Penang's future vision took place among various experts. The Consulate-General expresses its gratitude to Canon for undertaking such an initiative in Penang and will continue to provide assistance in these kinds of initiatives.
