Consul-General attends the opening of the 10th International Language Learning Conference

On September 3rd, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, attended the opening of the 10th International Language Learning Conference, hosted by the School of Languages, Literacies and Translation of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). This international conference is held biennially in this region, with this year's theme being ‘Celebrating Diversity Through Language: Building Inclusivity for a Sustainable Tomorrow’. As language is a crucial element in the formation and operation of nations, I intend to continue following developments in this field. Furthermore, I wish to further explore opportunities to introduce Japanese culture to Japanese language learners at USM.
