On 19 September, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang, received a courtesy call from Mr. Kazunori Matsunaga, newly appointed Deputy Director/Head of Japanese Language Department of the Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur, and outgoing Deputy Director, Ms. Masako Umeeda.
