Consul General’s Call on the Mayor of Ipoh

On June 12th, Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Zamakhshari, Mayor of Ipoh, the capital of Perak, and exchanged views on the possibility of further strengthening relations between Japan (including the City of Fukuoka) and Ipoh, while noting the presence of Japanese nationals and Japanese companies in Ipoh.
