Consul General pays a call upon Toyohashi City Mayor, Mr. Naoto Nagasaka

Mr. Shinya Machida, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Naoto Nagasaka, Mayor of Toyohashi City (Aichi Prefecture) at the Toyohashi City Hall on May 7, when temporarily back in Japan. During the meeting, Mr. Machida mentioned the activities of Toyohashi University of Technology in Penang, and also stated that the Consulate-General would assist Toyohashi City Youths’ visit to Penang scheduled this summer. The Consulate-General will continue to support efforts to strengthen mutually beneficial relations between Toyohashi and Penang.
