On June 15, Mr.Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang, attended the “Beyond Tradition Fashion Show” held at Gurney Plaza. This kimono show, watched by a large audience, featured creative kimonos and decorative items reinterpreted with a modern sensibility.
