Visit by Penang Development Corporation (PDC)

On April 23, Mr Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang, received a visit from Dato Aziz Bakar, CEO, Penang Development Corporation (PDC). The Osaka-Kansai Expo, which opened on April 13, is scheduled to hold Penang Week from September 21 to 26, and Mr Machida brainstormed with Dato  Aziz Bakar on how to make the week more exciting. The Consulate General will continue its efforts to further promote friendly relationship between Japan and Penang, which shall benefit Japanese nationals and Japanese companies in Penang.
