Japanese Culture Event at the Consul General’s Residence

On April 21, Mr. Shinya MACHIDA, Consul-General of Japan in Penang invited some prominent guests to his official residence to exchange views on the promotion of Japanese culture and cultural exchange between Japan and Malaysia. With the cooperation of Japanese cultural groups, kimono experience, tea ceremony, and shakuhachi (bamboo flute) performance were held, which were very well received.
