Visit to University Malaysia Perlis

On April 18, Mr Shinya MACHIDA, Consul General of Japan in Penang, visited University Malaysia Perlis  (UniMAP: Universiti Malaysia Perlis) to meet with former Look East Policy students (ALEPS members) who are now teaching at the university. At the university, he exchanged opinions with Prof. Ir. Dr. Shahriman bin Abu Bakar, Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Technology, and Dr. Muhammad Sofwan Mohamad, Head of Centre of Excellence for Automotive & Motorsport Technology on future academic and cultural exchanges with Japan, and received explanations on Japanese cultural events from a student who is now learning Japanese. The Consulate General will continue to strengthen relations with UniMAP.
