Courtesy Visit to Kelantan State and Kota Bharu City

On April 14, Mr. Shinya MACHIDA, Consul General of Japan in Penang, paid an official courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister of Kelantan, Tuan Haji Mohamed Fadzi and Mayor of Kota Bharu, Aziz Rahimee, in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. During these courtesy calls, Consul General Machida expressed his heartfelt condolences to for the damages caused by periodical floods in the state and requested further support for the activities of the Japanese people and Japanese company in Kelantan. They also exchanged opinions on the possibility of cultural exchange programs to deepen mutual understanding between Japan and Kelantan in the future.
