Courtesy Visit to Penang Heritage Trust

On March 24, Mr. Shinya MACHIDA, Consul-General,  visited the Penang Heritage Trust (PHT) in George Town, Penang, to hear about the history of the World Heritage designation of George Town and the challenges of preserving historical heritage in the city. The Consulate General will continue to deepen the relationship with the PHT, which has great working relations with Japanese universities and is also familiar with the Japanese cultural heritage in George Town.
