Courtesy Visit to Batu Maung Waste Transfer Station

On March 19, Mr. Shinya MACHIDA, Consul-General, visited the Batu Maung Waste Transfer Station, an intermediate waste treatment facility in Pulau Penang, and was briefed on the waste treatment programs of Penang City and State. The Consulate General will continue to focus its attention on the issue of waste disposal, which is an important issue for Penang as a vibrant city.
