On 23rd February, the Consulate-General of Japan in Penang held a reception to honor the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel in Georgetown, with the presence of Yang Berhormat Puan Chong Eng, Penang State EXCO member representing the Penang State Government, as the Guest of Honor.
H.E. Mr. Takahashi Katsuhiko, Japanese Ambassador, a number of Penang State EXCO and assembly members, as well as other distinguished visitors, attended the reception.
