Japan Festival at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM)

On 15th January 2023, Mr.Kawaguchi Yoshiyasu, Consul-General of Japan in Penang, participated in the opening ceremony of the Japan Festival at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), together with Yang Berbahagia Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah,Vice-Chancellor of UUM and Mr. Shimada Seiya, Director of the Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur(JFKL).
The event co-organised by UUM and JFKL, was a great success and a large crowd of participants enjoyed appreciating Japanese cultural activities such as origami, kirigami, calligraphy, Japanese dolls, traditional games, Japanese food, Japanese movie screening, and many more.
