Art Drawing Contest by JAGAM

On 26th November 2022, Consul-General Kawaguchi participated in the Art Drawing Contest at CEMACS (Centre for Marine and Coastal Studies), organised by JAGAM (Japan Graduates’Association of Malaysia, Northern Branch).
As this year celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy, about 40 Malaysians and Japanese participated in the event. They drew batik patterns very beautifully and had a great time enjoying the cultural exchanges between the two countries.
The Consulate-General of Japan set up a booth at the event to display Japanese cultural items and to distribute publicity materials introducing Japan.
