OPENING CEREMONY OF THE JAPANESE MARTIAL ARTS EXHIBITION AT TERENGGANU STATE MUSEUM

On 20th July, Consul-General Mr. Kanoya attended the opening ceremony of The Spirit of Budō: The History of Japan's Martial Arts co-organized by the Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur and the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia, in collaboration with the Terengganu State Museum, together with Deputy Chairman of the State Tourism, Culture and Information Technology Committee, Y. Berhormat Sulaiman Bin Sulong. In this exhibition, the brief history of Japanese martial arts—from battlefield combat techniques (bujutsu) to popular sports or physical exercise tempering body and spirit (budō) is introduced. The duration of the exhibition starts from 20th July to 22nd August.
