Penang Yosakoi Parade 2019

On 9th March, Consul-General Mr. Kanoya attended Penang Yosakoi Parade 2019 at Esplanade. 17 secondary schools all around Malaysia participated to the event, making the event even more exciting than previous years. Consulate-General of Japan in Penang carried out cultural activities such as Yukata wearing session, Origami workshop and furoshiki workshop at Japan Pavilion. Japanese World Heritage displays were also exhibited at our booth, attracting so many visitors.
